Good for global hiring

Used Multiplier for Employer of Record services. Onboarding was smooth for our new international hire. Platform worked well. Saved us time with compliance. Would use again.

Easy to get started

We needed to hire someone in another country and weren't sure how to do it. Multiplier made it pretty simple. I went through the demo first, which helped a lot. Then we signed up for their Employer of Record service. The Employee Onboarding process was straightforward. It felt much less complicated than I thought it would be, which was a relief. The team was responsive when we had questions too. Overall, a good experience for a casual user like me.

Solid EOR, minor issues

We used Multiplier for their Employer of Record services and Global Payroll for a new hire. The compliance side was handled very well, which was our main concern. The platform itself is quite good, and I liked the Payroll Reporting features. However, communication on a minor issue with expense reimbursement took a little longer than I expected to resolve. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but it could be quicker. Overall, it's a strong service, and the value is there, but customer service response times could see some improvement.

Saved money on EOR

I was looking for the best deal for an Employer of Record service. Multiplier offered a 3-month free trial, which was great for our startup budget. The platform fees seemed reasonable after the trial, especially compared to some competitors. It definitely felt worth the cost, and we got good value managing our first international employee.

hey, trying to figure out the best way to manage global payroll. is multiplier any good compared to like, deel or remote? what's the real difference?

C Cleo Bennett 1 month ago
I used them both, Multiplier and Deel. Multiplier felt a bit more hands-on with the local compliance stuff, seemed less 'cookie cutter' if that makes sense.

My company switched from Remote to Multiplier a few months back. Pricing felt more transparent with Multiplier and their support seemed quicker for our specific country questions.

What's the deal with their EOR service? Is it actually legit and compliant in different countries, or do they cut corners?

J Julia 1 month ago
They seemed pretty solid to me. We hired folks in Germany and Japan and they handled all the local tax and labor law stuff perfectly. No issues.

From what I heard, they're big on compliance. That's kinda their main selling point against some of the smaller players. They have local entities setup to handle it all.

Does Multiplier have any discounts for new startups? Trying to keep costs down initially.

N Noor Beaumont 1 month ago
Yep, they usually have something. Either a free month or two, or a percentage off their platform fees for the first year. Definitely ask about it during the sales call.

Yeah, I got a startup discount last year, 3 months free platform fee. Worth asking for sure.

Does Multiplier ever do any public promo codes? I'm looking to sign up and wanna snag a deal.

W Wendy Foster 1 month ago
Rarely. I think most of their deals are custom quotes after you chat with them, or if you get a referral link from someone.

Nah, never seen a public one. Best bet is to ask for a demo and see if they offer you something then, especially if you're a startup.

Thinking of using Multiplier for some international hires. Anyone know if they actually offer health insurance for remote teams, or is that just marketing speak?

A Anna Q. 1 month ago
Yeah, they do. My team in the UK and Australia got set up with it through them. It's not like you pick the plan directly but it's part of the package.

They totally do. My buddy used them for his remote devs and it was a big selling point for keeping them happy. Saved him a ton of hassle.

Is Multiplier good for just a couple of contractors? Or is it really more for bigger companies doing lots of hires?

D Dan D. 2 months ago
I started with just one contractor through them and it was fine. They do have discounts for bulk hiring though, so it scales up nicely.

Nah, I used them for a single freelance writer in Canada for a while. Super easy setup. Don't need to be huge.
